February 7, 2000: Stewart Farrar, Elder, Sage, Priest, Teacher and author of
many notable books on Wicca including "What Witches Do" and "Eight Sabbats for
Witches," dies.
February 12, 1964: Gerald Gardner, founder of the Gardnerian tradition
of Wicca and author of "Witchcraft Today" among other books, dies on a return
trip from Lebanon.
February 21, 1970: Stewart Farrar, author of many notable books on Wicca
including "What Witches Do" and "Eight Sabbats for Witches," is initiated into the craft.
February 22, 1922 (or 1917): Sybil Leek, Witch, astrologer, psychic,
Elder, and author of several well-known books on Witchcraft, is born.
